Signs are 12" x 18" and designed to meet Illinois and Kansas specifications for mitigation and abatement activities. Warning text is two inches high; a panel provides space to write the date and place of the project (cover panel with clear or white tape to re-use). Vertical flutes.

2) Caution signs shall be kept posted until the lead abatement or lead mitigation is completed and final dust clearance results have been obtained. Caution signs shall:

A) Be at least 11" by 8.5";

B) State the date and place of the lead abatement or lead mitigation project; and

C) Include the phrase "Warning, Lead Work Area, Poison, No Smoking or Eating" in bold lettering, at least 2 inches high.

KANSAS

28-72-18a.(b) Signs shall be posted at all entrances to the regulated area and shall include the words ‘‘LEAD AREA. POISON. NO SMOKING OR EATING’’ in bold lettering not smaller than two inches tall, with additional language or symbols prohibiting entry to the regulated area by uncertified personnel and the general public. All signs shall be in a language that is easily recognizable by all certified lead professionals and by members of the general public where the lead abatement activities are taking place.
